Indeed a really excellent piece of work - Adding Gollum looks even better, like a page of the book leaping out in front of your very eyes. Fantastic more more more 8)

I have made some trades and still need to locate 3 more mounts but I have 13. I am going to struggle to find a mounted Bilbo. The Knight will do for now.

The unpainted bases look home-made, yet really great. If they are home-made, would you mind me asking how you made them?

They are laser cut out of pressed wood, but I don't remember what kind. I have some and they are nice to work with. They are available from Litko in the US.

I also think I need to play at oldman willows house. :mrgreen:

The bases are Litko laser cut. I do not have a 40mm plug cutter. 1 1/2 inch is a bit small. I want to use them with the GW plastic bases,

I have been moving so I have not posted much lately.I have most of the Game stuff moved now.I have new tables to build and a lot of organizing to do. I will start some new Middle Earth projects very soon as I complete the new work areas. The new game room is in the basement of the new house and is some what larger than the old room.

I am going to build a larger table so that I can leave the large fort out. I will finish putting up shelfs and repaint the room first. I don't care for the blue color.

Will be good to see some more of your fantastic terrain OMW, look forward to it. I am just building my first board now and am purchasing some Hirst Arts Molds for my next project. I have the terrain bug , the gaming bug and the miniature painting bug now..... I'm doomed lol

You could always use the mounted Frodo or Sam for your mounted Bilbo.

Two new deals I found on ebay: The Hobbit Lancer on a mule and the Hobbit Sniper with Crossbow.
I have started repainting and rebasing the figures. I have much more work to do. I added a tree (made from a twig) to the base; obviously I need to do a little bit more work on the trunk.
I missed the Mithril Hobbit Scout, but was able to purchase Deagol and Smeagol In The Boat.
I'll try to post more often, now that we're getting settled in the house. :frodo:

I worked on the base and adjusted the tree trunk. I will need to let it dry before I finish his face.
