Cirith Ungol 350 points sbg army

I’d like some opinion about this orc army.

Warband 1
1x Gorbag w/ shield;
6x Orcs w/ shields
4x Orcs w/ spears
2x Orcs w/ 2 handed weapons

Warband 2
1x Orc capitaing w/ shield;
6x Orcs w/ shields
4x Orcs w/ spears
2x Orcs w/ 2 handed weapons

Warband 3
1x Orc capitaing w/ shield;
11x Orcs w/ bows.

Total 38 warriors; 350 points.

It is definitely an orc army that will have to rely on numbers to bring down the foe. You have a nice amount of might and plenty of bodies, the main thing that is going to cut through you like a knife through butter, unless you outthink them, would be a like of D6 elites that have a higher fight value. But like I said, that's if you don't outthink them.

You will, in many cases have an archer advantage- make the most of it, because it is what will aid you against those elites. Otherwise you have a well-formed horde army. The only thing that I would do is try to get more spears in there- they will serve the working of the horde better in the long run.

Pitty its 350pts, 1 mordor troll would look awesome there as your big brute model.
But if your trying to get a Cirith Ungol army, perhaps you could add some mordor uruk hai, those elites with S4 and more fight, can come handy, and will get some extra power if supported by spear wielding orcs

I’d suggest swapping the Orc Captain for Shagrat and adding a few Mordor Uruks. Try dropping the orcs with 2-handed weapons to get the points.

Cirith Ungol would not be Cirith Ungol withough Mordor Urukhai, their entire command systems are Uruk-hai. Also Gorbag is Minas Morgul if unacompanied by Shagrat.

I fully agree! Shagrat and Mordor Uruk Hai are a must for Cirith Ungol :-)

Whats the point of a Cirith Ungol army without Mordor Uruks! They are the embodiement and the first thing a person thinks of when some says Cirith Ungol!
