Hi I'm Mark Jorrit! I had some posts be4 but I wanted to have a w.i.p. thread, so here it is xD

Here are some figures I've painted just before I started this w.i.p. thread:

I painted this troll like 2 weeks ago. But the base isn't fully finished as you can see xD

Image

Image

Once I was done with the troll I had these spare parts that I wanted to do something with,
so I made this drowning isengard troll with it. If you want to see how I exactly made that drowning troll,
you should go to my youtube channel. There I got a tutorial about it.

Image

Last week I painted this Uruk-Hai Mauraider and Eomer mounted.

Image

Image

I still have to do the other mauraider, but I'll paint that soon.

Eomer

Once I finished painting the uruk-hai's I came on the idea, to make a isengard platform, like they have in the movies.
This is what I got for now, but I need more of those thick sticks so I can get it done :D

The drum that is standing on the platform is from the troll that I showed before.

Great work on the troll and Eomer too - the drowning troll is a brilliant idea (might have to pinch your idea there as I have the spare troll parts too lying around somewhere )

Very good painting, although I can only see half of each model, you should make sure they are in the centre of your picture.

Excellent work though, genuinly, love the drowning Troll.

Thanks man! About the pictures, I know the pictures are only half ;(
You can fix this by zooming out in the page, so everything gets smaller and you see the full picture.
Do this by Ctrl + scrolling with your mouse towards you

Very nice painting. Though the gap under the Mordor Troll's arms is quite noticeable.

On a side note, how are you uploading your photos? If you have a "Picture Manager" program or something similar, you can re-size the photos.
I usually do mine at 'web-large' size. That way, the photos fit inside the page without having to zoom out.

Anyway... Great work on your models and best of luck in the future! 8)

I've painted everything I could paint of the Isengard Platform before assembling it. I thought I had enough of those thicker sticks, but I didn't so I'll get some more tomorrow.
Here is what I got for now:

I know it isn't a mayor update, but yeah, it's something ;)

The Isengard Platform is almost done. This is what I had for yesterday. I just need to add some extra's and some ropes, and the base of course.

I painted the base black and I added some ropes. So yeah, again, not a huge update of the terrain xD
I'll be adding some fences at the highest floor (just 4 planks), so it gets more closed and secure. I also already made the 2nd ladder and the banner that I showed be4.

I also improved Eomer. First Eomer didn't have eyes, but now I painted his eyes.
But I don't know if you can see a real difference xD

Nice struktures.

But there is a problem with the pictures, they are oversized. I suggest to you to download the picassa-webalbum. You can manage your online pics there easily, and the size will be fine.

I managed to finally fix the problem ;)
Many ppl said the same thing you did but they didn't give answers about programs to use, like picassa, so I thank you for that!
I really like Picassa, thanks alot!
