I'm now painting my brothers warriors of Minas Tirith, I mean Arnor, so no Napoleonic progress coming in soon.

Just got a metal Orc Command (Captain and Banner), and a box of 24 Galadhrim Warriors from my local store. Removed from Backlog - 74. Bought - 26.

Must reduce backlog now...

Well, I am afraid that I have fallen off of the band wagon. Due to GW's new price increase on plastics, I have begun stockpiling the 24-man boxes from the local shops. I recently purchased a box of Easterlings and another of Warriors of Minas Tirith. Pretty sad for the guy who created the pledge!

So does that mean you'll be changing your avatar, oath breaker?

Indeed, however, I am unrepentant and will continue buying the 24-man boxes that I find.

I don't blame you. Smart thing is to stock up when you see a good deal despite already planned out budgeting. Buy now saves you later, hence the reason for my backlog.

Smart thing to do, thankfully I've gone most of the infantry I want (apart from Galadhrim and Orcs (I think)). Painted up another 19 Dwarves (Dain, Captain, Banner and 16 Rangers): Removed from Backlog - 93. Bought - 26. 8.71% of Warriors painted.

P.S. Can you add me to the list on the front page

Done.

I've changed my avatar to reflect my Oathbreaker status, and I shall wear this badge of shame for 30 days, or until I paint 30 miniatures.

Wouldn't being publicly unrepentant require some more serious measures? :)

Erunion I have followed your bad example, and bought 6 Warg Riders, and 6 Wild Wargs:
Removed from Backlog - 93. Bought - 40.

Well at least it would be that way if I hadn't updated my Orcs :P
Removed from Backlog - 133. Bought - 40.

Don't let me be a bad influence on you.

I'm only buying to save money on the plastics!

Well I'll need an excuse for when I buy another couple boxes of Warg Riders

If I didn't have enough infantry I would be too, and then I'd probably have to paint another 100 to get my backlog down again.

still, another 15 Dwarves done :D Removed from Backlog - 148. Bought - 40.

Removed from Backlog - 163. Bought - 44.

@Erunion: you still got to get through those 30 miniatures?

Painted a company of French Dragoons. LOTR is a bit preoccupying me ATM.
