Thanks GothmogtheWerewolf, i know i could use it on the november challenge but i already choose Golfimbul for the challenge, its the same i wont get a single vote anyway lol

If it turns out anything like those 2 banner bearers then that will not be the case at all. Brilliant painting on the banner bearers, especially the freehand on the banners themselves. Great work!

From what I can see, they are excellently painted Haradrim 8) , my only qualm is the look too bright to be evil, they need some more black on them.

They look great. An army of them painted like that would look very intimidating indeed. Good job.

I love the bases. Use some matt varnish on the figures, they are glossy a little bit.

I agree, the figures have varnish to protect the paint of damage, and was supposed to be matte varnish, that was what the woman at the store said, but its not, I cant find anywhere matte varnish so im using this one... :(

Is it a spray? A painted on varnish is much easier to apply too much with, whereas a spray varnish applied from arms length will apply just the right amount to protect the model without adding shine. Testors Dullcote is the best I've found.

yes......................maybe thats the problem...I try to spread well the varnish with a brush but i agree with you because a varnish spray leaves a thinner layer for sure!
There is another factor, which is in the pictures my minis are so bright, without being in the pictures is not as bright. I think the sun is reflected in the varnish when im taking the pictures and gets brighter in photos..

i never seen here varnish on spray, what can i do? any other options?

If you can't get hold of spray varnish then I'm afraid the only other option is to be very careful applying the varnish very thinly with a brush (unless there's a method I'm unaware of).

To be honest I don't think the shine on the pictures is all varnish as the majority of parts that I initially thought were shiny due to varnish seem to just be brighter highlights when I look with closer inspection. In which case, great job capturing the light in your painting.
