Interesting conversion, BotWT.
Not sure if I have any models to paint for this month. I'll look though.

Is that a head swap of Glorfindel onto Rivendell Elrond?

Yep, head and sword of the armored Glorfindel onto the Elrond body. :)

Ok, here it goes.
Glorfindel after assembly

Glorfindel after priming-hah, he has something stuck on his shoulder, must be a pebble from the base.

Nice conversion Bilbo, I'm looking forward to see yours, and Jobu and all those before in the end, even though I do not like elves.

I won't be entering this month either (didn't manage to start my ent last month and I don't have a suitable model for this months challenge) but I am looking forward to seeing all the great entries as always. Great conversion by the way Dave 8)

Biblo, that conversion looks great, nice idea. I too don't like the 'official' unarmoured glorfindel model. Sadly I'll have to bow out of this comp. as well, no suitable figures to paint..... :(

This Elrond figure's head a little bit oversized.

I agree. I don't suppose an Undead Galdhrim banner Bearer can be entered can it, I don't like elves see, an that would be the closest thing.

A dead elf lying in a pond in the Dead Marshes, complete with a little candle light? Now there's an idea anyone is free to use, I'm not going to make that one. But I should be getting a mini soon that hopefully suits this contest.

Does Haldir qualify?

According to the rules, any armoured HIGH ELF hero can enter...
If he does then I'm wasting time repainting Elrond while I have Haldir waiting to be painted : (
