Ah Erunion, my Command purchase only consisted of 2 models! A banner bearer and a captain, it appears I'm in the green! Thank you for the clarification however.

Well, I have finished 2 models since starting this, so that means I am free to purchase one more! Yay, things are moving in the right direction finally.

Jon I think I need to participate in the backlog Reduction Oath. But I don't need any more figures. I won't need to purchase any because I have them all .
So I think I will not start any new projects until I finish with a project. That may be hard. I seem to have bad case of attention deficit project disorder.
I will finish Gondor before I do any more orcs. I will combine Mirkwood and the Old Forest into one project and finish it before I work on Helms Deep. I have already promised a Goblin Town up date I will have to count that as already started.

Count me in. Got to do something to this ever-growing pile of unpainted tin men.

Actually I made a (possibly short-lasting) decision to follow Oldman Willow's oath. I will not start new projects (defined by me) until I've finished two from my project backlog. I will also pledge not to buy new computer games before finishing two from my backlog (I still have unfinished Amiga games...) and I try to apply this principle to books, movies and records as well.

Eh, given the progress you are making, I wouldn't consider you to be an oathbreaker!

Just went back to buy the mumak that I spotted on sale for £20 the other day and it had gone
Oh well think I might invest in the finecast terror of arnor instead - he's a monster right? so taking for granted monsters wins the sept painting challenge I could use him right?

I'm not looking at it as missed out - I have 2 done already so it was just a turn of fate - Looks like i was meant to get Gulhavar

I just ordered Shelob for the monster challenge. I count it as five models since it's so big and comes with Frodo and Sam, so I need to paint ten models before it arrives. To make sure I can take part in the painting challenge I already ordered it before having the backlog reduced enough but I mean to finish ten other models before receiving it. This oath is really making things tricky...

Fortunately in a good way. Luckily for me I had a monster lying around so didn't need to order one. Looking forward to seeing your Shelob Pasi 8)

An update on my backlog reduction so far:

Painted - 1 Knight of Minas Tirith, Lurtz
Bought - Nothing

Slow progress, but better than no progress at all :)

An update on my progress:
Finished
Uruk Hai Captain
8 WoMT (they were boring. Very. Very boring.)
Various Terrain pieces including a Hirst Arts Tower(I'll count these as 1 infantry)

In Progress
Assistance with the basing of my sisters 24 Warriors Rohan
Uruk Hai Banner Bearer

Purchased: nothing yet

I plan on emptying my entire backlog before purchasing anymore models so I'll have an excuse to give myself a big reward!
Something along the lines of 400 PTs of Isengard sounds about right. 8)
