Very nice bunch of bats and gobs!
Any chance to see a larger pic of one of the non-GW-bats? What are they?
Those looks very interesting !

I need one more. The bats are D&D plastic. The soft kind. Paint does not stick well.I have and old Vampire Count bat that I will use as #12 if I can't find another.
I am going to try to bring the Citadel Guard up to strength this week as well.

Nice set of tools you have there, you even have a magnifying glass! Too bad you can't use that on Finecost models during the daytime.

I have started on the doors. I will glue up the hatch opening rings a little latter when they have dried.

You have some very interesting miniatures in your collection, Charles. I love checking your threads because I never know what I’m going to find.

I really love the pool and Gollum, dust and all. It’s a very atmospheric piece and the water looks amazing.

I have a quick question for you...I remember you saying that you make most of your rocks/boulders from some kind of bark. Do you know what kind of bark it is that you are using? Your terrain looks so much better than insulation foam carved with a hot wire cutter.

Pine bark.
I just posted a photo on the Old Forest WIP. I will go over how I process the lichen and the bark. There are some WIP bark painting Photos too.
Thanks for the nice comments :!:

Wow, that looks awesome! :)
Have you made enough bits and pieces for a full moria gaming board? If so, can you put up another photo or two :?
I think that it would be worth you writing some terrain articles, if you have the time. Clearly you've got decent skills and experience, and I'm sure other members (especially me lol :-D) would appreciate a guide or two.

I wonder though, if you might consider plugging up gaps where the blocks meet with a mix of plaster and PVA, so they would be less noticeable. It looks great as it is however.

I have done that with some of the parts. The problem is the edges always show. The not filling the spaces breaks it in to a one inch grid for D&D and the seams don't show as badly.

Yes.

I will clean off the game table and make a few photos latter in the week.

I have to organize a few more things but I would like to.
