I just posted a battle report from a game played over Easter!
It's on my blog: http://imaginarywars.wordpress.com/

Image

It's not the most super-detailed battle report, but at least there's some pictures!

Well, that looked like a fun battle.
I really like the first picture,
is it photoshopped?

LoL! To be honest, after the Witch-king kicked the bucket, you looked like you were doomed. The Barrow Wight paid off his points though.

The text is photoshoppe, but the picture itself is all natural.
It was a bit of a happy accident: I don't use a flash, so as to avoid washing out the picture; and I had my camera set for fluorescent lighting (instead of just setting it on automatic colour adjustment due to lighting). My lack of flash and my lack of tripod resulted in a little bit of blur....which upon review ended up looking pretty decent.

I'm sure I'll never be able to replicate that reliably. Ah well.

And yeah, the game was a blast! The Barrow Wight probably only just paid for himself, speaking from a strict points for points standpoint. As I wrote at the end of the entry, it was the effect he had on the players facing him that made him so totally worth his points.
(I'm sure he'll never be given the chance again to be that awesome!)

Nice battle report, but Galadriel could have used her free point of will a turn to pass her courage.

Gaaah!

Of course she could! Bah! I can't believe I forgot about that. I remember loving that change in the rules when the game made Will able to do more than just cast spells or resist them. In my defense, there were four bottles of wine and four of us all hanging out (three were gaming); I was doing my best to ensure I didn't forget my own rules under those circumstances.

I really enjoyed the battle report, well done. That Barrow Wight was definitely a good purchase. Tough luck with the WK, though.
