Welcome to the voting thread for Buhrdur.

Voting in this challenge should be based not just on painting skill, but also for application of different painting techniques, individual artist improvement, creativity and originality etc.

Voting will be open for 7 days and will close at 6:49 PM GMT

Not many entries this time round but some quality painting nonetheless, so will it be..............

I have voted for Dave's Buhrdur.

You've improved tonnes in your painting skill recently, and it really shows in this Buhrdur of yours. Great job!

I will just point out though that it is really difficult to choose between the three of them, as they're all brilliantly done! Well done to all of you :)

very very tough decision, but had to go with valpas' one, it had a little bit of a darker tone, that's what got my vote.

I voted for Bart's troll. Ace painting as usual (no matter what he says himself). I like the way it (s)trolls through Rivendell's light green spring grass... :-) Well done Dave too, even more impressive considering you painted all the different sculpts in the same time as we did just one!

Damn hard choice this time but I went with Bart's, just lovin' the way you did the metal mate, looks sweet! Not that the other guys, Dave and Pasi, didn't do a stellar job either. I'm still waiting on my replacement to come from GW but I'm still keen to paint him up as soon as he gets here.

I voted for Valpas's Buhrdur, I love the expression on the face! His eye looks perfect!
The colours of the rags and his skin are a perfect contrast match, and I really like that you didn't follow the usual sheme of metal pikes, but did bone-pikes instead. Great job!
It was a hard choice though, love Dave's Buhrdur just as much!

I think becasue they are the same miniature it makes the decision a little tougher than previous challanges, plus the are virtually on par with one another with respect to painting and personal touch's. great stuff guys and good luck.

Well, after much deliberation I voted for Valpas. Good job everybody, and hopefully we'll have a couple more entries next time around. :)

Well if you asked me which one of these I would personally like to own I would still pick my one. Just personal preference. However as voting for myself would be a bit cheesy I asked my daughter which one she liked best and she used my vote to pick Pasi's entry :) . When I asked why she said it was 'because it's bigger'. :frodo:

Those are all really good! I really like them all! I like TBB's a lot, but I didn't really like the base(sorry), and Valpas' is really good, but I like ukfreddybear's just a bit better. Very well done everyone, hope to see more painting like this in the upcoming challenges!

Wow this is definitely a coin toss or a D3 roll of 1-2= Valpas, 3-4= UKFB, and 5-6= Buckland.

It took me several minutes to actually decide on one.
