@ Freddy, now that I look at it again with that different picture it looks a lot better to me. I think this second picture isn't as bright and the overall colours seem to meld better to me. What I meant by 'red' and 'orange' were probably the dark flesh and kahki. You sword looks really good becuase of the slight colour variations on it. It has some nice black/brown wear on it, and a little bit of reddish colour it looks like too. I also like all the fine silver lines on there. (I guess they're probably from the drybrushing?) Overall I think the sword looks so good cause you captured the look of a big brutish sword that isall scratched and banged up, and that doesn't get cleaned very often.
@ bucky, I really like how you did the sword and metal plates on the loincloth as well. A different aproach than others, but I really like it. I have never really been able to pull off the 'coloured' metal, and then do the highlights of silver on the edges, but you pulled it off magnificently.
I will have to think very hard about who to vote for as all the entries are great this time. Each has it's own strengths and weaknesses, as well as personal touches in the painting and basing.
