Lovely details, It starting to look better and better. I specially like the use of playmobile barrels... I should look for them, they make great scenery :) ... I think they are on the attic tough ...

Looks nice but maybe you can damage the wood a little around the place where the horse live cause my friens horses always eat from the wood.

eats the wood? hmm tasty. I'll first finish off the model, then get you those chew marks lol, or make it look damaged. I'll need some weathering on the wood anyway + I might get some plants growing up the sides of the walls.

Yeah my playmobile was deep in the shed somewhere, I was lucky getting out alive for our shed looks like it's just been hit by a bomb :L I hope I'm not alone?

Great work on the stable. What minis is it designed for?
Also what's the 'hay' made out of?
Keep up the amazing work.

It's actually a manger for the church, and I was asked by a magazine to do a quick article on it. The hay is actually exactly the same as the roof. Oh a quick question on your hall, is it going to be on a hill - or an a stone foundation (like the Golden Hall in Edoras)

Oh right, thats going to be perfect for it then. I have just joined a praise band in my own church [i play bass] (sorry for going off topic).

My hall is just going to be on a stone foundation so yeh like the Golden hall. Thats what the polystyrene is.
Keep it going.

@hero of gondor; Inspiration from the BGIME? and the church is sadly weeping on the shelves behind me. Need to finish it off.

@Cyndra the Grey; Sweet you play in a band, what kind of music do you play? Good stuff on the hall, foundations are coming along good. 8)

Mostly lively christian stuff but I play heavy rock by myself as well (Black Sabbath, GNR, AC/DC)

What are you going to make from the hirst art blocks?

@Cyndra the Grey; Sweet! I play the cello so it's more difficult to play stuff like that, lol. I'm going to be doing various little things with my hirst art blocks at the moment. I'll get you up a few pictures of what I'm working on at the moment ASAP.

@hero of gondor; ehe, no worries - going of topic is a specialty of mine. Did you hear about the. ... .. wait, better not. Are you referring to my building or Cyndra's, think he's trying to build the hall no?

I got terribly bored today, so thought I'd play around with some plaster (don't try it, such a mess) I stood on some of my bricks that I had left on the floor :x but was able to use them thankfully, and even had to make them look even more battle worn (apart from the cheesy scent lol)

And another random piece I did

Great ruins you made there and they were by accident as well! Any chance of you painting some minis or a you just a scenery guy?

@hero of gondor: I can't play any metallica but I listen to them a bit. I might try and pickup some of those mags for my own projects.

Great work as usual Drum.

Yes I know I need to get my act together and get painting, I have heeps of boxes of mini's that I keep buying - but don't paint! I have a whole Gondor, Rohan and Isengard army to work on. I'll try & get a picture up some time of what needs to be painted. I'll start of with Gondor most likely. 8)
