Hello I am new on this forum.

I have a doubt on how a wizard can use his own magic power...

Can i use for example a transfix on an enemy that fight another mini ,or this cover my visual...

Or can i use a transfix if i am beyond my soldiers or this cover my sight...

If a caster can see its target, then he can cast a spell at it.

Yes but also if the spellcaster is beyond 2 or 3 lines of minis and he can see only a minimal part of the target

I would roll a spotting die if he's behind 2 lines to see whether he can see him or not. Behind 3 lines I don't think he'd have a proper chance at all to see him so I would count it as not in LoS.

Actually, if you can see any part of his body, you can cast a spell on him. Magic does not have in the ways.

I know, but it's actually seeing him. Typically, he probably wouldn't be seen behind 3 lines of guys.
