I'd like to see an article if you're willing to write one.

Those houses look outstanding!

Eh... have you ever considered writing an article about them?
It would be great if you could write an article about this...
It has so many great aspects for the scenery-builder, such as the roof-tiling, the woodworks, wooden details, stonecarving, plastering, frameworks, ...
It would be a fantastic addition to our library once it's back!

Can work both ways, depending on how you organize the article, but usually painting is included.
Make sure you have plenty of pictures to illustrate what you did/are doing.

The article library is currently under works. No idea when it will be ready to be used again, but hopefully sooner rather than later.
Meanwhile you can organize and type your work in a text processor (Word or even the windows Notepad)... you can copy-paste everything to site later.

Lovelly stuff, by the way! Really nice!

PS. I seem to remember that, for the stairs, Dagorlad used a couple of simple technics to make them work with the minis without looking too odd. One of them was doing a step a bit larger than the others every inch or so, so that the minis wouldnt thumble. The other was using a 'doodad' (I think thats how it was called). Basicly, it was a separate portion of steps that you could place upside-down in the actual steps, where you could place your mini. Pics would really be handy right now, but with no gallery or articles I can't really link to anything.

They look really cool. The thatched/tiled roofs look fantastic. Great work all round. :)

So, stairs to upstairs..i just realized that second floor cant be on rental because the door to the stairs is behind the bar..i dont think that bartender lets people behind the desk all the time...so the second floor will contain bartenders own room and a storageroom..this might sound like a little thing but it matters to me because the function of the room will determine the decoration of the room...but here are the stairs..

Nice work JCoo! The stairs look great!

I've tried something with your thread to make it possible to change the topic... hope it will work now.
Could you try to change the topic again into the most recent date?

It's a while since I last looked in on this thread - very impressive work. I realised that the perfect LoTR harbour would be Dubrovnik - at least for a Gondorian port. There are plenty of great images of that lovely city on the web so have a nosey around and see if that adds even more inspiration. And keep up the good work!
