well i am no expert and i have very little time to post this but i can give some info.

btw when the articles are up again check Thror´s article

Pikes are very good i think they are one of the best things an isengard army can call upon. Crossbows can be good, they are really frightening and most people don´t wanna get near them, but they can also be a waste of points. I don´t use scouts as they are only 1 point less than a normal warrior and it isn´t very much difference. Isengard also has some very good heroes, Ugluk, Mauhur etc etc. btw don´t get Lurtz he is rubbish. He have a shield and a bow, and the bow compromises the whole point of having a shield. So just get a captain or something like that instead. They are pretty much alike. I have never tried an isengard troll they look good on the paper but i can´t really help you there. I think warg riders are good to but i don´t have very much experience with them. Personally i think shamans are good if not great, fury can be very usefull and transfix can be usefull to. Berserkers are great: High defence, high courage good fight they are very good shock troops. And i take them over ferals any day. Hope this helps, but this advice is really only my opinion and i haven´t played with uruks THAT much.

And you should really check Thror´s article when it´s back online.

Were you planning on Isengard Raider or Legions of Isengard?
