I like the minis James, very well painted. Bases look great too. 8) You painted the flagbearer well, but I think is face is weird. (just his eyes really.) Apart from that, very nice.

Hey all,

A small update. with a small story.

The other day, the superglue went crazy ( I wasn't using it on this model) and dropped down onto the base of this uruk c'bowman. I couldn't get hikm out of the base without ripping his ankles off. So i had to make lemonade with lemons. This is what i have.

Theres a build up of glue around his feet. But its not too bad compared to when i looked at him a few weeks ago.

ok, a small update then of what I have just been doing the last few days:

As part of the "rebasing everything to a better standard but still cheap and quick",

I did the bases of 3 haradrim and 3 knights of Dol Amroth - The actual paint jobs are old >.<

lol if i didn't know better it was picture of the stores collection. But it isn't lol. So many blisters :shock: i only had two so far. :o Nice work on those figures. I like the basing - even tough you called it cheap and quick. It looks great.

Thats more than most GW's LOTR range at the moment i reckon. I went in 1 a month ago they only had 6 racks of 3 or so blisters.

The bases look quite nice. I'm looking forwards to seeing your progress on all those blisters.

You've gotten around the same amount of blisters as the two stores I've been to though with the new focus on WOTR that may change.

The bases look good and the armour of the dol armoth knights looks very realistic and about that blisters you should paint instead of buying so much :P

Actually, I bought most of this once I had finished painting everything... I just decided to re do bases and some repaints on some old rubbish jobs I did.

Well, its been out since last april...I would say that there is just less and less everytime I visit one...
