Hey,

I created my account some time back and was briefly on the site, however due to school and other live stuff, :) I didn't become a frequent poster and I wasn't able to do much hobby. :(

But hopefully this time can stay around abit more, ive got some free time over the summer to work on some terrain and painting - having got back into the hobby recently, and would love to share it with people here. :) Perhaps I'll make a WIP to show any of my attempts.

So cheers,

Galad.

It's always good to see new members wanting to get involved and the holiday periods are often great for devoting some time to a project.
Especially with the UK summer being what it is again :-(

The trick with any hobby is getting a balance so don't forget to do other things too. Terrain making often involve different steps with time for things to dry or set in-between and it's good advice to give your eyes regular breaks when you are painting miniatures.

I'm looking forward to seeing your efforts :-)

Welcome back. :-D

The lure of the hobby becomes very strong when life slows down again.

It's happened to me three times, I started in '04, was really interested for 4 months then life caught up with me (me being ill). Then in '06 I was tidying and found my box of LotR SBG stuff, bought lots of stuff back then and I almost joined this site 4 years ago but by the time I found it I had started to give up on the hobby and forgot about it the next day. Then in '07 my bro got the MoM set and it sparked my intrest again, then it faded. In '09 I finally started painting again after I bought a shiny new dragon 13 months ago.

Enough about a me, I hope you enjoy painting and playing some games of SBG.
