How effective would be a small army in SBG with wargs as core? I think it would be pretty much fun to play with because of the superior strength and mobility.

Yeah, but what when you're losing priority ? Then you haven't got any bonusses at all. But I don't know what to think about it.

If he's using wargs then he doesn't get any bonuses regardless as to who has priority. (unless you mean warg riders?)

Wargs are quite handy. Just think of them as fast moving strong orcs. Consider taking the Warg chieftain though if Wargs are the core of your army.

Consider a beast army with wargs, the warg chief, some bats, maybe some spiders, and Druzhag. Loads of fun thematically, and very nasty if you time things right. The only problem is low defense.

Not sure because, Ive never tried it, but I am building a warg army of my own.

there was this article in WD 331 about dragons, and one of the sample armies they had was a beast army as follows:

spider queen
25 wild wargs
5 giant spiders
2 bat swarms
Dragon with fly
(personally i would drop 2 spiders for tough hide/ breath fire)

So i reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeealy liked the whole beast army idea, and so I've been building it along with my goblins (and they make my hybrid army (and i decided this after i saw the Misty mountains army list in WOTR and on the GW site))

but i think an army of wargs would be great, as they can be taken in droves and are so fast that you can easily attack on the flanks and get to stuff like banners ect. AND you can EASLY pick out targets and do fakes(move abit to the right (enough so he thinks ur gonna attack that side) and then attack left)

so i think it could work well, the only down side is the large base - so ur guys easly get attacked by multiple enemies

the idea is adding in druzag is something that i HIGHLY RECOMMEND, as he adds loads of fun to your games
