our team didnt do too well...it was looking good after the 2nd round with 5 wins, 2 draws and a loss but after a terrible last round (3 losses and 1 win) we ended up about 4th we think...

our other team won the fantasy tho :D so still a very good day overall :)

I did well. My risky uruk-hai army (no archers whatsoever :-D ) performed well so I won all 3 of my games. Th other members in my team won a game, lost a game and drew a game each. We placed 4th overall I think. It was a great day out so that's all we need really. :D

Our team did awful, seriously. One of us (spuds4ever) got two wins and a loss, and the rest of us got a draw and two losses :( . We're just hoping we didn't come last...

We were trying to work out what army was most popular. Would everyone agree with Uruk-hai? Also, what was the most interesting army everyone saw? I saw a Mordor army with two Troll Chieftains.

Redcar won it again. Did they win it last year? If so, that's five wins in five years. :-X

Isengard's a tough nut to crack in competitions, that's for sure.

Congrats just for doing this. Very cool opportunity. 8)

Karvag? Were you the guy with 8 berserkers and a shaman? If not, it was some other Isengard player that I used my own Isengard army on.

I also won 2 lost 1 but the only reason I lost the first one was because I was playing against full cavalry dol amoroth+Imrahil in sieze the prize. But the guy I played against that game was a great sport and the game was close the whole way through so it was my most memorable. :)

Next time it's going to be WotR, how does everyone feel about that?

I think that's supposed to be Druzag. I myself am a despiser of -3 company formations as they just don't last. Too many heroes as well IMO. I would get rid of one or mahur's marauders. Sorry to be so critical but I tend to get quite negative in these situations.

No, the only restriction is that you can spend no more than 25% of your points on allies. However, there might be some "special" restrictions for the School League.

I like Druzhag's "Summon Beasts" too

I didn't play you then Karvag. That guy was one of the people I beat in the school league. I'm wondering if we'll be able to compete in the WOTR tournament next year. I can make an army myself but a lot of the people with LOTR models at my school have no interest in playing WOTR. We may not be able to get 4 people for next year.
