So I was bored waiting for some new figures to arrive, and I decided to create a Mac native army calculator for LOTR SBG. I ended up just throwing in all the stats and upgrades into a Numbers spreadsheet to help me build scenarios. Unfortunately, because of Games Workshops license stuff, I guess I can never share it with anybody huh? (Also working on a Warhammer 40K one, with inventory tracking too. Especially since I can't keep track of all those upgrades!) Anybody else do this?

It takes time, but it's pretty simple to do in a spreadsheet. An interesting project.

I have spreadsheets for all my armies, with the number of models I have ready to play as one column to show the maximum number of each type. That's quite convenient for my friends who come to play and want to quickly put together an army from what I have ready in the cabinet. BTW, I too do that with Numbers. :-)

Have done so since day 1, my spreadsheets can keep track of my models, build armies and then print out with all rules and profiles - an invaluable tool.

It's a shame we can't share them though, huh? I think it would help beginners to organize their forces, and be able to pre-build armies for particular scenarios. Nice to see another Numbers user ;)
