I'm quite happy with both sets of knights. One set of Morgul, two of SKoDA, and I'll be done.

Got to get those Galadrhrim sometime, too...

Has someone actually seen the Osgilliath Ruins?

They look brilliant! The Swan Knights' helmets are far better now. :D I like the little moon at the top of the Morgul Knight's banner (Minas Morgul was originally Minas Ithil which means Tower of the Rising Moon.)

Nope, they were in the list from HDR, but to my knowledge that's all anyone's heard of them.

I agree, it's a very nice touch. I can't wait to get the Morgul Knights! 8)

WOW, these look very good! It's great to see the extra options (hornblower, banner bearer etc.) being included in the kit - I can't wait to see the other releases too! :)

They reduced the size of the helmet, making the miniature more physically realistic, without sacrificing the original design of the Swan Knights. Very clever, very appealing.

The number one thing I'm interested in on this list are the Osgiliath Ruins. Terrain is mostly a pain for me, I don't have the tools to make excellent terrain and the only supply I have readily availible is cardboard. I wouldn't mind having any of the new minis, but I don't buy a miniature unless I really want it, or if it would have some practical use in an army, though I don't game too much. Perhaps I will eventually purchase the SKoDA. :)

Doing a siege of Osgilliath themed army I'm pretty excited to see the new ruins too.

Those Morgul knights look bloody brilliant.

The new Swan Knights are much better than the old ones, quite like the Morgul Knights too.

Now that I've though about it, I'd bet that the mysterious miniature in the picture further up this page is the new Faramir.

I have a funny feeling that it is too, though I sure hope not. We already have a Faramir in heavy armour figure on horseback, and it actually looks like the Faramir we've see in the films. Granted, it could represent Faramir after the War of the Ring (why, I don't know), but since the films show him in the same armour, just with a cloak, I'm not sure about that.

his name will be Faramir Stewart of ithilien, so that might very well be

also Duinhir seems to be able to buff rangers, giving them Longbows :o

Yes, I know, but I wasn't sure if they were coming out this soon.

And does anyone know if the foot versions will be coming out?

Don't think so, someone posted this at TLA's temp site:

- The War of the Ring: Hosts ??,?? Euro
- Knights of Dol Amroth (plastic) 26.00 Euro
- Morgul Knights (plastic) 26.00 Euro
- Ruins of Osgiliath Ruins kit (plastic) 22.50 Euro
- Mauhúr (blister) 11,50 Euro
- Brand Mauhúr Schatzer Command (blister) 12,50 Euro (scout command?)
- Duinhir (blister) 11,50 Euro
- Protect the Schwarzgrundtals Command (blister) 12,50 Euro (archers of Blackroot Vale)
- The Dwimmerlaik (blister) 22,50 Euro
- Faramir, Captain of Ithilien (blister) 12,50 Euro

That was posted before the pics apeared over there and seems to be what most people are going off of, dunno how much more of it is true...

Hmmm 26 Euros at a very wild guess is about... £18-22 isn't it?

Not really a whole army thing... but it's a decent price to supplement an army of Mordor...

They should be the same price as the Galadhrim Knights. Here in Canada, that means 6 plastics for the same as you'd pay for 2.5 metal blisters...
