I've just painted my first model in 6 years, a Moria Goblin I got in my (re)starter set. I wasn't too impressed at first, but then I dug out the same Goblin I painted around 7 years ago (one of my first).

I still have a long way to go to get to the standard I'm aiming for, but I think I've made a decent start!

Nice for your first model in 6 years! :-D Metallics are really good. Only criticism is the red is somewhat lacking in contrast, a watered-down wash of black ink should fix that up. 8)

Thanks for the tip.

I need to completely restock my paint/ink supplies. The only paints I have at the minute are the ones I got in the starter set!

Watered-down black paint has mostly the same effect as ink. 8)
