I love both of the minis, although I personally don't like the silver scheme on Glorfindel... He looks too uniform and boring, if I may admit so ;)

I cam home after a weekend and my girl friends to find a broken Glorfindel on my computer desk! I done abit of digging and it turns out that my step mum was admiring the paint job and dropped it......

/facepalm

It's broken at the sword, is it possible to pin it back on?

Ranger of Gondor: As I said in my original post I was trying to make it so he blends in with the Wood Elves and doesn't look like a High Elf.

That's sad news :( I've had that happen with dozens of minis.

It might be possible to pin in back on, but the sword is a very small part of the mini, so it would be hard.

It would be very hard to pin it. I suggest that you use a small dot of green stuff and a little bit of super glue to fix it.

No way!

All you have to do (although it can sometimes get frustrating) is to superglue it back on, then fill in the gap with Greenstuff 8)

You could, but it would be stupid.
As that miniature comes with the White Council box, you would have problems to find only the Glorfindel mini, plus, you would get a bunch of duplicates!

I may well give it away after I've painted the final version. I've just stripped and sprayed all my old Wood Elves! Can't wait to get started! I'm going to take my time on them so they look amazing on the field.

Glorfindel looks fantastic, the white cloak is superb elvish clear white and still enough shading to make the difference.
Well done there Okada! 8)

A very long time ago I had my White Council Galadriel in progress:
http://www.one-ring.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=11701&start=100

Only two days ago I finished her off (appart from the base which I will do tonight).
I used Hawk Turquoise as the base-colour for her and lighted up with Ice blue and adding skull white... It needs lots of layers of watered down paint though, but it looks not too bad in the end.
I'll post a picture tonight of what she looks like now (the metal breast-plate has a different shade of blue meanwhile aswell...)

Your Galadriel looks really nice man!

I have a few questions for you all....

1. Would anyone object if I used the Galadrim captains as regular units? Obviously I'd have to clarify this at the beginning of each game but when I asked my local Games Workshop Manager he said it wouldn't be a problem.

2. Also could use Haldir with Legolas' profile? IE Use Haldir's model in place of Legolas'?

3. What are Haldir's new rules? Is he worth taking? I understand he has some sort of last stand but I don't know how it works?

Thanks in advance
