uruks are more hard wearing and take more punishment than orcs, but on the other hand orcs have mordor trolls which are very dangerous, and orcs have sauron who is the best mini in the game.
but it depends how big the army your talking about is.

I think the Uruks are better. They have a good "F" and a good "S". And their pikes are really good. But Mordor has more choises and more miniatures.

In my opinion, Mordor are far better than Isengard.
They have nearly twice as many numbers in battles which can always swing the battle to their favour. They also have more specialist troop choices such as trolls, morannon orcs, orc trackers and mordor uruk-hai.
Their main disadvantage against isengard is their lack of pikes, crossbows and berserkers, but their superior numbers and trolls often overcome that disadvantage and crush the enemy with their sheer army size.
In 1 on 1 combats they will almost always lose out, as they have an inferior fight, strength and defence to isengard uruk-hai, but a good general may use his/her advanced troop types and his/her numbers to overcome the enemy defences and break the uruks into a rout, for the warg riders to run down any courageous enemys and force them to flee the field, giving Mordor the victory! Mwahahahahahahahaha
So in my opinion Mordor is certainly better than Isengard, and they have my vote!
Hope this helps 8)

in one on one fights orcs are rubbish compared to uruks, but when size is considered mordor have larger armies with trolls, wargs and other skilled troops.
so it depends on how big the army is, if your looking to get 40 uruk hai or 48 mordor orcs, id say go for uruk hai :lurtz:

mordor, because they can get trolls, mordor uruk-hai and so much more,

but isenguard is good in its own right cos they've got beserkers and crossbows.

i like mordor because of trolls, easterlings, wargs and Saron. But Isengard is very good too with uruk-hai and saruman. but mordor has a much bigger seliction and it gets kinda old painting the same thing over and over again.

ill take isengard 4 the strength of 4 not only on the warriors but on the crossbows, + what other warrior has 2 attacks, courage of 8 & defence og 6 4 only 15 points...beserkers come on now. as i said b4 strength is in strength & defence not in #s & they have a higher strength, fight value, courage & DEFENCE. that will win u a battle.

also saruman & grima will drive u crazy if ur fighting against them

I doubt it.

Karvag, Hobbitsrule, thread necromancy is when you post basically useless stuff in a very old thread. In this case the thread is SIX YEARS old. Most likely this topic will be locked shortly by a mod. Thread necromancy is generally seen as annoying.

It is annoying, but by posting in this threads after someone has posted in them.. isn't that also some kind of necromaning?
