How about, once per turn he can remove one friendly model within 6" and then all models within 12" get +1 Courage for the rest of the turn?

Or is that exactly the same as Ugluk's rule?

Right, Ugluks rule is

Head Taker: blah blah, instead of taking a Courage test when Evil force is broken, remove a model in base contact. Ugluk passes courage test and Stand Fast becomes 12".

So, that makes him 5 points more expensive than a standard Uruk-hai Captain with Heavy Armour.

So, how about -

Daerak, Black Numenorean High Marshal

F S D A W C M W F
6/- 4 6 3 2 5 3 1 1 (60 points, + 4 characteristic increases @ 5 points = 80 points)

Wargear: Daerak is armed with ancient heavy armour, hand weapon and two-handed weapon. (5 points)

Special Rules: Terror. see main rules manual
Hold, or you're next! : When forced to make a Courage test, Daerak can instead remove 1 model in base contact, he then passes his courage test and all friendly models within 12" gain +1 Courage until the beginning of the controlling models next turn.

Based on Ugluks rule being 5 points, when the force is broken, let's say 15 for Hold, or you're next!

That gives us (60+20+5+15) a nice round 100 points, and he's not seriously deadly. Note that, I haven't playtested him in the 3 minutes it took to type this...

I am in the midst of converting a model to represent him..

Hope fully I will have a picture by the 29th

I'll maybe order some extra BN's when I get back from holiday, interesting to see multiple takes on the same concept.

Any chance you'll be able to playtest my version before then?
