I think they need tidying up a bit or cutting off. Not sure which yet.

I think he looks more oriental now. Oh, well! When the wings are attached, the ears become less noticeable.

Just don't call him 'big ears'. :no: He'll roast you for lunch.

Still, it's an improvement on the original head. Just look at the angle at which the head joins the neck! Awful! :roll:

I'll confess when you talked about the new ears, I was worried. I thought they might look kind of dorky. But you really pulled it off! Great proportion, elegant lines, and only increases the sense of menace.

Thats great Natarn, it really lifts the appearance of the entire head. Definitely the right choice. And a little beard too I see! Now thats a dragon.

I thought you might like this picture. Smaug from a dwarf's perspective. There's still some tidying up to do on the face.

This evening I have been attaching the wings. I had to rig up a scaffold of jam jars and pencils to support the wings and hold them in place while the putty sets. Fingers crossed! :pray: Here's hoping it doesn't all collapse in the morning! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh! Fixing the wings has been the trickiest thing so far.
