The prices are in the order the minis are mentioned. Just check out their website if anyone needs clarification.

Also, old glory minis look promising. I might get a pack to check out the details on the minis, sicne the pics on their site are only of groups and not individual minis... not sure of the details and quality.

ANyway, sorry for any confusion.. not trying to cause any!

Edited from here as...
I see your point slightly.. I meant that the prices show as the sentence before the actual price quote. Ex... when I say they are available as foot, mounted, or both and the next sentence read $3.00, $5.00 and $8.00 it means the foot is $3.00. ALso, the Mounted version is $5.00, and you can get both versions for $8.00

I hope this explains my last mssg a little better. It gets a little long to spell out averything again!

Only start a new topic if we get the go ahead for our a new forum topic. I haven't had a responce from Dagorlad nor Silverscott i suppose they're really busy at the mo. However an informative guide with suggested models to be purchased (along with the website address) would be great. :D Maybe have pics to show people what the models look like and maybe display their costs both in US $ and UK £ :D

The post I had in the miniatures forum was deleted due to having competitor minis for Games Workshop, since this is what the sponsers of this site promote. Anyway, if anyone is interested in what I have discovered on various minis, please email me and I'll send along an email detailing everthing to date. I will not mention any more minis other than Games Workshops LOTR range since I do not want to risk doing damage to this supplement, such as deleting this post and the other one.

Sorry for any problems I have caused on this Ugluk.

Thats great KE, hope your friend lives up to his word :D

For now tho some sad news. One of the mods deleted picos post on the mini forum because it was a) advertising (not intentionally) or b) nothing to do with LOTR :?

I've mailed an apology to one of the mods, think it was my fault for putting the dragon pics up there :( sorry guys! what am i like

I think they may have blocked me from the chatrooms and i guess we can kiss our chance of a Fall of Gondolin topic goodbye . We'll have to make do on these posts i suppose.

Sorry, Andy

I deleted it as it was turning into an advert for other stores ranges. It is nice to tell people of other figures available but the forums are not the place.

Apply to have them on the links page or pm anyone interested.

Nice of you to take the blame though :)

We're not trying to advertise, only find ways to use certain (non-gw) minis. Maybe you could try getting stocking rights for ebobs, scibors etc work (therefore making it easier)

unfortunately trade agreements with these people are not easy to come by. The issue here is advertising on the boards not advertising fullstop.

I am in support of use of alternatives as a lot of the time they are the better of the figures. The advertising should be done through pms to those interested or in the links pages (on approval).

To add links all over the boards for businesses who have no intyerest in OR is just cluttering.

Please use more subtle methods and by all means show off the alternatives. I like them too.

either as goblin king says or as follows:

Try makinf a mold for the water out of a self hardening clay and then pour in the fake water. I don't know the name for the stuff, but they sell it at most hobby and craft stores. Craft stores may be cheaper, since it is sold by the fake flowers for use in those types of installations. You could make it in 2 parts also using greenstuff by using the self hardening clay and the pressing into the clay a fountain effect you want. You might need to experiment with it. Once finished, prime either white or grey... not black. Then paint as normal.

This may sound confusing, and I wish I had time to make a few pics doing a similar idea, but sorry... no time since I have been wearing all of my paint brushes out getting elves done.

Now I am working on orc captains too, and will have pics of them hopefully by the end of the week.

Cool, great work pico :D

KE; both ideas suggested are great. When i'm going to make my fountain (hopefully using your guide ;)) i'll use stuff called 'water effects' you can get from woodlandscenics.com. I would highly recommend it but its pointless buying some just for a single fountain (i have some left over from my main board i made :?)

Anyway, i'm currently working on scenarios and updating the rule book etc. But for a break i decided to create a front cover. (KE, i improved upon the original design you sent me ;) hope you like it)

Enjoy! (if thats possible :?)

Thats much better than mine! maybe you could do that for the back cover aswell.

I might try gk's way but use spackling instead. :D

For the water spouting out of the fountain, you could try to use the kind of wire people use to fish at the seaside, it's a thick kinda nylon wire, there are some with the perfect colour of water. If you add some hardening varnish over it, (or even PVA will do I think) you might get an awesome result (just a guess, never tried it myself but let me know know if it works...)...

Hope it helps...
Cheerz!
