The Ruins of Osgiliath is back in stock.
I think that is one of the best scenery kits that GW makes, it is usable not just as Osigiliath but as ruins for other games and across different parts of Middle Earth.
One recommendation I have if you buy the set is to fill in the stairs piece. I think it looks more complete that way.
If I was looking for scenery that could be used in multiple settings, for additional $20 US, I would buy two sets of the Osgiliath and the Mines of Moria set vs the Ruins of Dol Guldur.
The Mines of Moria set has pieces that can be used as objective pieces or as plinths for statues.
- the well I found is easy to make a mold of.
If you have the older terrain set, you can add the gate for a stand-alone piece
Osgiiath can be done several ways, I have done Harad pieces with craft store raindeer antlers
Or paint black and add toothpicks for an more evil look
That is a few things I have done with the set, googling will come up with other examples that others have done.
