Nice to see you finished Weathertop, excellent work on the ivy placement and on the weathering of the stonework.

That looks amazing! I am definitely quite envious :-D I love the overgrowth and the dirt and grass tufts on top, and the pictures with the Hobbits and the Ring-wraiths could be straight from a Journey book.
The wargs and other more recent miniatures all turned out great as well.

It's been a bit too hot recently to want to paint, but I have made some progress on some more LOTR terrain - A pool and wall for Moria:

Looks promising. Eager to see more. The walls are simple yet effective. What material is the pool?

The pool is textured plasticard I got from Amera plastics.

The weather got a bit cooler, and I found I was able to be arsed to pick up a paintbrush. I have now finished the Moria wall and pool, and also 6 Watcher in the Water tentacles to go in the pool and try to drag hobbits to their doom!

Pretty cool for ceiling tiles! I've always thought of stealing a florescent light cover for my choppy water, seeing as it's all bumpy and stuff. Might be a challenge to cut, though. For those interested, Evergreen scale models makes a water sheet, but it's quite expensive.

The Fellowship minis look great Slinky! The Moria terrain and minis quite possibly look even better. That should be a great looking setting for a battle in Balin's Tomb :)
