Its an army a bit hard to use effectively without the big main heroes, trying my bet on numbers and using the monsters to take on advantage.

I think list one looks good. That troll makes up for not having Azog or Bulg around and the Ogre can pick up the slack if the troll gets magiced into the dirt. Plus one of those lucky captains gets master of battle yeah?

Yes one of those captains will get that... though I could replace a couple orcs for berserkers (3 or so) as fast moving infantry... although they would be picked up so bad in a way...

I like the first list, although it has less models you have multiple threats from the troll and ogre and it looks like it would be a lot more fun to play with compared with the second.
