I still forget to update my thread properly...
As a side effect of a big army commission, I had the chance to paint a few Haradrim for my collection. Still, a lot to do for both, the commission and my army, but at least progress is made and the future looks brighter.
:)

Love the paint scheme, very Arabic and fitting for the Haradrim.

thanks a bunch guys!
here are two links with a brief reference to the colours and techniques used for the Abrakhan Guards' skin and the Haradrim warriors' colours in general.

So, here is a bunch of dwarfs that I finished for Adam in the US a couple of months ago. I enjoyed painting them, but I feel that the green used undermines the final result. But, since Adam preferred them this way, all is good.
One thing to notice, are Dain's hair, which I tried to copy movie-Dain's colors and his axe, which is described as a red axe in the book.

Your hard color scheme is amazing. I love it.

The dwarves are well done, it is a fairly dark green which I think is less friendly with the gold and the red, but nonetheless it is still a fair scheme and looks good.

Nice work on the dwarves, I think you could have probably pushed the highlight on the green a bit more with them but still an excellent job.

Hey,thanks bud! In what are you interested? Clothes, hair, armor?

You're probably right CG, maybe I should have done so.

Thanks bud! I still strongly feel that these colours do not compliment each other and that the final result feels as an underachievement. Dunno...

Hi everybody!
Here are a few custom made Rohan-realted casualties/objective markers that I completed over the last few months.

Nice work though I think some blood effects (like Tamiya Clear Red or Blood For the Blood God) would really make them pop.

Thanks guys.
I used some MR HOBBY clear red on the poor Rohirrim, but not a lot. I didn't want to make it all look "Friday the 13th". It's the poor lighting, methinks.

Anyway, I was toyin' with an old model a couple of afternoons ago. Still WiP.
Be gentle.

No need to be gentle, she's shaping up nicely (the face is excellent).

I love the bases, I ve done the same recasts for a diorama, they fit excellent as objective markers as it seems! Eowyn is going on well, the woman face to be really "woman-ish" is something difficult to be achieved but I am sure that you are going to make beautiful enough, even for Aragorn's taste haha!
