Hi guys, I'm back after a long break due to some GCSEs and a holiday in the South of France. So, if you please, I'd like some critique on this list, which is at the moment looking like a strong favourite to take to the Longbottom Carnival at the end of the month. Anyway, here goes:
Warband 1: Isildur, shield, horse, The One Ring (leader) 6 Warriors of Numenor, shields, spears
Warband 2: Gil-Galad, shield, armoured horse 7 Kingsguard, spears, shields
Warband 3: Erestor 7 Kingsguard, spears, shields 1 High Elf Warrior, banner
Alfred 12 Laketown Guard, spears
700pts exactly 38 models No bows.
As you can see, the tactic is a shield wall led by Erestor with the elves in the front line, supported by Laketowners, Alfred and a banner. The Numenoreans will either be added onto one end of this, or more likely, used to support the two mounted heroes in flank and rear charges.
The kingsguard are just in case I come up against other elves a only other thing would maybe be swapping Gil-Galad for the twins, but to be honest, I'm not so sure how I feel about that, although they would probably be more useful.
Enough from me, what do you guys think?
Thanks, Lord Elrond
