Amazing, justice done to a fantastic sculpt.

When do we see the foot version then?...

Ok so more Champions of Erebor up next and the speed painting continues. The client was in a hurry for these guys so I cut a lot of corners with the paint jobs. Happy enough with how they turned out. First time painting green marble and have since had another go on another model and it looks much better.
More pictures over on the Shadow & Flame website

Thanks for looking :-)

Where are these eponymous missing corners of which you speak? Most of us would be delighted to manage anywhere near that level of skill.

Next up is Gimli. Client requested the model be mounted on a 40mm Moria themed base complete with Goblin weapons and cobwebs.

Fantastic work as always, the cobwebs are a nice touch. I have been noticing something about your silver metallics that looks a little weird to me. It looks like it has a orangeish, bronze hue that makes it look not silver. I don't know if that made sense, but I thought I'd point it out. Out of curiosity, how do you paint the silver? It's possible it's just the lighting.
Anyway, good work! :yay:

To which silver parts are you referring to bud? i sometimes glaize sepia into chainmail to give it a worn effect.
