How cool would it be to play on Ravenhill? on the waterfall or on the sideways tower?
If anyone has any reference pics or from the movie can we please put 'em here? Right now i would think the totem marker/ army director wpuld be an awesome piece to have in a game

There's meant to be some great Ravenhill art in the BotfA art and design book if you can get hold of one. Also some of the trailers and TV spots have brief glimpses of Ravenhill in them. You can get some ideas there if you can pause it at the right time, lol.

This movie clip has the big army director in it too:

Interesting thing I noticed in this clip is that the orcs seem to be wearing slightly different armour to the other ones in the battle. They have different helmets to the orcs which fight in the city and the orcs which charge the dwarves. Come to think of it the bottom lip of their helmets kinda looks a bit like the helmets the goblins in Moria wear, except less corrugated and a less pronounced jaw.

Not really related to Ravenhill though.

If only there was a way to make the marker move like it did in the movie, but near impossible i suppose

The Hobbit the Battle of Five Armies Official Movie Guide
Brian Sibley Page 150 and 151. There is another photo on 149 and a photo on 117 and 118 of the set under construction. I can not recommend this reference enough.

Sithious, Thanks I did not have that reference photo.
As you can see my model is a modular section of the very right hand section of the prop model.

I Am Frodo, I can not recommend a better reference. The concept drawings are there.

I think the most interesting part of ravenhill would be the towers and tunnels to trap dwarves in.

Oldman Willow. When AUJ came out i bought both of them (Blue and brown one) and the Official movie guide. The official guide had photo of old Bolg and didn't have one of Goblin King. The Blue one came out a month later than the movie and had the pictures of goblin town and such. Then that was the last of them. They never ordered them in for DOS or BOTFA. Might have to look online. Love the board!
