Being inspired by the Thorongil mini I'll never own (Because I don't want to spend that kind of money on a single mini) I decided to make my own. Here are the three minis I used to make Thorongil.

In a nutshell, before Aragorn revealed himself as heir to the throne of Gondor, there was a space of time where he went around serving, basically as a knight errant for the King of Rohan and the Steward of Gondor. During that time he referred to himself as Thorongil.

His service endeared himself to the people of both the Rohirrim and the Gondorians. The Steward became jealous of Thorongil's popularity but before the steward could do anything Thorongil, or aragorn, could see that the time had not yet come to reveal himself as the King of Gondor, so he left into the wilds once more.

I skipped the whole base coat, wash, highlight pics, but regardless, here is the final product. I feel a lot more excited about the Talion mini I want to make!
