Just wondering if anyone has any clues as to what his base size is for the mounted model... it certainly does not look like a 40mm base...

And what is up with his warg... I may have to change the look of it when I get it the face is all off...

Cheers.

At first I thought it was 60mm, but it looks too oval to be that.

I think it's one of the new small Oval bases. You can see them in some recent 40k releases. I wonder if they're ever going to use the 32mm bases on SBG stuff at all? Azog and Bolg would have been good candidates, considering their size.

I would guess it is a round 50 mm base, like the previous version of azog.
Maybe GW did a bit too much fotoshop, what resulted in an oval looking base.
Could really be oval too ofcourse, but that would be strange.

I think it's a 50mm base too. Although looking at the miniature, either Bolg is really small or his warg is enormous. I don't think the scale really works here, as judging by the image you could probably fit maybe four Bolg's on that warg's back with ease. Would make for an interesting conversion though. :-D

It's almost definitely the new small oval, looking at the White Dwarf and supplement. The same as the Broodlord from Deathstorm.

Am I the only one who doesn't like that Azog and Bolg are on different bases than normal cavalry? I don't get why they would be. I think I'll just put them on the regular cavalry bases...

Looks like it, a 75mm Oval Base. Pretty huge and a strange choice considering it's just a normal warg rules wise.

^True, why go against the grain? He'll seem out of place in a cavalry formation. Odd indeed.

Good luck with that, they don't fit on normal cav bases.

Should have seen it coming based on Bolg's stature, yet small size on the Warg, but his mount must be pretty massive.
