Your method is working really well, the blending of the nose is perfect

Skin tone looks great and the metallics are going really well so far. I look forward to seeing the end result.

Almost done and I am pleased with the way this has gone so far. I feel like I've made some progress. However any pointers will be greatly appreciated.

Really nice work! 8) I really like the skin and the armour, the transitions are very well done!

I only miss some green and blue tones in the armour. And the red cloth looks a little bit to flat so far in my opinion. Some edge highlights on the scales at the back might make them pop a bit more.

Thanks fells.
I have painted all of the troll ow but I am left a little disappointed. Perhaps I have gone too dark but I did want a grunge sort of look.
I will apply some highlights as Bennett suggests, just here and there to make this pop a bit more.
The photos haven't really picked out all the colours in the glazing, lots of blues and purple in the shading and reds browns in the highlights.
I did use much in the way of green but may look at that again while working on the final highlighting.

I like it. I do feel like the edge highlights on the armor plates are a bit strong when you're looking at the shoulder pauldrons, but at the same time I feel like the model needs it so it's not only dark

I think the issue here is my beleaguered photography skills. The edge is not as sharp as the picture suggests. This is an area I must work on, my photography, but it will have to make do for now.

I think you've done a wonderful job on this beastie. In particular, I like the various contrasting glazes you've done on the armor (the purples, blues, etc.). It gives the armor a much more realistic look.

The method is known as TMM - True Metallic Metal, so our comments mean I seem to have got it pretty right. Thanks.

Really nice work! 8) There is only one thing I'd critizise and that are the scales. I know that you always try to have very good blendings but for the small scales you definitely need some ligther edge highlights. Through all the glazes you can't really make out the single scales anymore.

Thanks everyone.
Bennett, the photos are a little dark and have not picked out some of the edging to the scales I have done. Thanks for pointing this out though.
Its one of my issues is my photography as it isn't really picking out what I want to too, then again I haven't spent long enough working at it.

Awsome looking miniature! Love how you did the tunic, and managed to still get some skin in there to!

Superb. Agree with SoH, the ivory colour on the tunic stands out as exceptional. Also really like the detail on the tunic edging. Looking forward to the completed diorama :)
