The Balrog is cracking, I can nearly feel the heat coming from the face. Radagast of course looks wonderful and I like the work done to the sled's base, it can look rather barren.

Holey moley that is incredible!
I've never before seen fire so lifelike (apart from real fire of course...)

Very good work on all the models! The balrog is very realistic for a simple scheme - well done on getting it in the right places to make it look alive :)

Masterful job on the balrog- you really nailed the impression of heat coming from within. I bet you had that "roar" moment paused on the TV while painting him! Looks that way, anyway.

Literally!!! Too much heat! :)

But in seriousness some fantastic work there - as others have said, the Balrog is excellent. I'm very impressed by the "heat" that you've managed to generate through that paint job - at points it looks wonderfully white hot.

Also great paint jobs on the Hobbit minis there and that's cool that you're both into the Hobby now.

Once again great work - very well done! :)

Picked up four eagles and Gwahir for £45 off Facebook, painted them up using Garfys tail of painters tutorial:

Nice eagles, and great balrog. But how on earth did you manage to get 5 eagles for $90??

Someone on a Facebook trading group ;) Gwahir was missing a foot which I replaced with some trickery, was well chuffed and saved myself like £40
Didn't even need stripping as they were just dry brushed.

It's neon weathering pigment that ties the colours together and makes them pop in the light, from forged monkey or something. There's a link on my site on the post about the balrog :)

Thanks all!
