Great work from everyone as normal, very tricky to pick. Barbar's Haldir gets a special mention from me, lovely muted colours and really nice blending - top job mate!

However, it's got to be DMS for me this month, not only is Leggy painted to his usual stunning standard but the freehand work on the tunic is something that I can't even conceive of doing myself. If someone does something with a paint-brush that I consider categorically impossible then that's gotta win it for me! Top job Kev :yay:

Voted for DMS's legolas.

The free hand and the 'crispness' of the model was what sold me.

Reminds me of the techniques I use when I painted my elves.

Just is a shame that I have no more time to paint atm.

Is this classed as a draw or does Bandobras get the nod for having one more vote ?
Another outrageous vote but it's all down to more excellent entries, long may this continue to push the bar further up.

Wow that was so very, very close :)

@DMS - thanks so much. I'm amazed to have won a painting challenge over you although I feel that perhaps the sculpt of that mini's face didn't really do you any favours? It's certainly not a model I'd like to paint judging by the shape of the face in store.

Also thanks to everyone who voted for me. It's so cool to have won a painting challenge on this site against some tough opposition! :)

Well done to all who entered! :)
