So I'm looking at in the near future to create a fortress for my minis. I've wanted to build one since I first started this hobby, but never gotten to it. Now, I'm making this fortress my next project, but I'm stuck on inspiration (and a few materials).

Done a quick google search for some fortresses, but they're not so good or don't appeal. Well, and there's not many where I was looking.

Anyway, some help finding inspiration would be great. If you have created a fortress and care to share, those images would be great for developing my own. Same as if. You know where there's some good inspiration. I'm probably looking to make a Gondorian outpost, but dabbled in my mind the idea of an Elven and Orc fort.

there were a few excellent fortress's and outposts. Gondorian, Orcish, Dol Amroth. and a few elven things aswell.
dont know which issues but they offer a good inspiration

HI i made this just before to use as part of my Rohan theme table it can be used as a roadway customs/checkpoint, and as a river guard as with impassable terrain either side then as a fort for sieges i still need to make a gate/barricade i have put some more pics in gallery
