I like all of the minis but the hunter orcs are the outstanding set of the bunch - and your great photos show up the great sculpts. Really well done!

Top stuff as usual. I think though the models' very high standards are diminished by a fair few bent weapons.

More outstanding work. The blending on Eowyn's dress is first class. I also like your colour scheme for the sentinels. The hunter orcs look nice and dark - I prefer the lighter skin tone though as it shows more light and shade contrast.

Hi guys

Here are some rangers I painted today. I used a wet blending technique that does away with tedious basecoating. It's a very fun and messy way of painting and I find myself using it more and more. It's a little difficult to describe in words, really needs video to make sense, but I've also attached a photo of the models after the first layer to give you some idea.

Interesting. Are you using an airbrush for this?

I really like your style here. Those blends look so natural. One question if I may.... are you using a wet palette or a drying retardant for your wet blending?

They look great, once again your trademark muted palette. I would like to see some clearer pictures of the finished items if possible, the bottom photo is a little dark.

I used a wet palette and thinned my paints using water only. And yes I'll take better photos once they are all finished. I have finally bought a stand alone camera which is a huge improvement over a camera phone but I'm still getting to grips with the settings.

Solid stuff as always, MMS! I need to look away before I'm tempted to buy some of those Elves as well!

The faces on your minis are fantastic. Love Haldir, but it's hard to choose a favourite!
