With my Mordor lists, I'm pretty happy with my "base" or a nazgul, shaman and a 24 Orc shield/spear block (as many Morannon as possible). I'm still trying to figure out a third warband I like. I feel like I need a might 3 hero and I want to avoid a 3rd shield/spear block for variety. What do you guys think of adding some hunters?

Could work. I'm partial to monsters myself, they're just so fun. So my recommendation would be a Mordor Troll Chieftain leading however many orcs would fit points wise

If you do decide to include a troll, make him a chieftain. He needs the extra might for winning fights (no spear support) and the will for resisting spells.

I think a troll and a named Nazgul is too much at 500 points. And I'm definitely bringing a named Nazgul
