Hi Zarathustra Suicuine, just swung by the forum for my (apparently annual) LOTR gaming but yes I do have Star Fleet for this. Mongoose don't exactly seem to have the Midas touch though, which is a shame as I like the metal miniatures (thankfully got no resin ones) and my mates and I have always had fun playing it. I'm glad ADB said they will keep stocking the 2500 range as I'd still like to get some Klingons and/or Romulans one day.

re: your post in the other thread: I like the Brigade models very much. Good detail for the price and I still look at those ships and can't decide if it is a Venator rip-off or just a coincidence. Obviously not an actual edge hull but a lot of the other features... Good speedy service from those guys a few years ago to.
We aren't 100% sure if BFG is the best base. We have also played Dystopian Wars and that seemed like it might work better due to how shooting and fighters work. The first version of their Sci-Fi rules, Firestorm Armada, are free on the web so having a look at modding that is on our 'to do' list.
