I am also a gamer, I just am more interested in the hobby side. I have been heavily increasing my practice and knowledge in painting, so I can make these results, :)

beautiful cloak there on the elf, however one point is that if you wnat to create an army of evlves then nmm is going to be a very long laborious task they will look amazing but it could be a very long time before you have a finished army as the amount of care you are spending on your warrior is the same amount of time i would spend on around 20 ( i batch paint :) ) other than that the nmm is excellent with very good contrast :)

hey guys, another small update, I was working on an elf but I went on vacation for a month and when I came back I couldn't remember the color selections I had used, so, I'm starting over on another elf.

Anyway, here's something I did finish before my vacation, I decided to add more contrast to the cloak to make it pop out more.

Anyways, as always, comments are welcome

Kinda rushed through the last parts I worked on, aka the hair, spear, and face...

Great looking elves! The NMM reminds me of the last alliance scene with the filter they put on the camera.

hello guys, it's been a while, but I have an update for you.

Picked up a brush for the first time a few weeks ago after taking a long break.

Wanted to continue on my extremely long quest to painting, "Fingolfin's Elves."

Here is my color scheme!

Btw, the white undergarment is still not finished, only a basecoat on there, the same goes for the arrow feathers.

You really like vibrant, bold colours. A horde of those on the table will look really attractive.

I love the cloak. Great colour that has been blended exceptionally well. I think you can go a touch lighter on the highlights as I have seen blue highlighted up to white.

Amazing! The transition to the lighter shade of blue is done extremely smooth, great job! :yay:
Funny by the way: I chose the same colour scheme for my Fingon's Elves, but reversed the cloak and undergarment colours.

Haha, yeah, I guess! Well, what's in a name. :P

By the way, I would advice to remove mould lines carefully next time. I think I'm spotting a rather big one on his helmet now. ;)

yeah, i know, I got most of the mold lines off of the armor plating on the front, but I didn't want to touch the helmet.

Besides, he's just a prototype, hehe
