Sir Richard, do you mean Finrod Felagund?

He had no sons if I remember correctly, he was separated from his love Amarië when the Noldor left Valinor, and died in the dungeons of Sauron whilst saving Beren.

Finwe had 3 sons and 2 daughters. None of whom were called Finrod. Finrod Felagund of Nargothrond was Finwe's grand-son through Finarfin. You may be talking about Feanor son of Finwe? He had 7 sons. Here are their names: Meadhros, Maglor, Celegorm, Caranthir, Curufin, Amrod and Amras.

Not sure where you're looking from but I'm looking AT the book and it says that Finwe (Finn) had three children, whom I am guessing are sons. The names of these are as following: Feanor, Fingolfin, and Finrod. Feanor had seven sons, true, Fingolfin had three children, but I am not talking about either of these two, just Finrod.

Sir Richard, you may be looking at an early draft. The original Finrod is now called Finarfin and the current Finrod is a different person.
