I've almost finished my entry, only the basing left to do, so I guess I'll now upload my proof pic first.

I'm rather pleased with how he turned out, really.

Red and white looks great on him! 8)

Here is my Galadriel prepared for painting:

I have already one gaming miniature so this one will probably go for a white council diorama, which is why I have not based her.

Valpas , that sculpt is just beautiful, the new white council set maybe expensive, but wow are they good.

Cyberalien312, great painting and perhaps you should get the award for the fastest entry!

Well, I didn't finish last time despite entering, but maybe I'll give it another go.

Grr, knocked over my model as I was painting it! Let's hope the glue repairs the bow, eh?

Cyberalien - nice standard you have set there, well painted and nice work on the face.
Valpas - I agree with Harfoot, a stunning sculpt that belies a 28mm figure.
Goldman - hope there's no lasting damage.

Thankfully, the bow was easily re-glued on. I've nearly finished though, and probably will have finished him tomorrow.

Had to make sure I was far enough along to finish in time. Here's my proof pic. Sam from the original boxed fellowship

And here's my first completed pic (a few more to come but my batteries died).
I'm really pleased with him, my first ever eyes on a LOTR character and my first blending the paints with water (after I saw Gandlaf post on that).

I'm pleased I can help James. It looks like you've done a pretty good job, well done.

I have finished my entry, although I haven't quite finished the base, if I get time to finish it I will add new photos...

I have done Gandalf the white on shadowfax, and here they are:

Image

Do we get extra points for the amount of white on the model haha??

I have got a proof photo on my phone so I will have to get it off my phone and then ill upload it.

Great entries already, my vote will be swayed by the amount of white used for sure

Does it have to be a LOTR model?

If not, I might enter Jaime Lannister...

As long as he has plenty of white on him i can see no problem. 8)
