Excuse the double-post, everyone:

DMS, would a Gandalf on Gwaihir conversion be eligible for entry if Monsters is the category?

a GW ent would count as a monster but what about an ent that I sculpted? just curious since this is supposed to be a 'painting' not 'sculpting' challenge.

AHHHHH, buyers remorse as set in, Why did I ever select monsters???

As a trawled around GW's website wondering what to paint, it dawned on me that I'm really going to be at the mercy of what my local store has in stock! Oh the humanity

I so want to do a Winger Nazgul, or maybe the Watcher in the Water, or a cave drake or a dragon.....

If you see me submit the Goblin King, you will know that I am a sad sad panada.....

Can't you order either of them through their online store and have them delivered to your local store? I don't think it will take much time for the item to arrive.

This will be the very first challenge I will be entering :-D . My entry will be Treebeard, which I bought off eBay. He is already painted, albeit badly. Will my entry be eligible if I assemble him and repaint him?

If strip the paint off him and have a proof pic then I don't see how it would be a problem.

I most likely will end up ordering in some models, but I think I will need all the time I can get this month. Large models can take a long time to paint, not taking into account if you want repose them. I like to take my time with my larger models because they really draw the eye and get a lot attention. (Which really isn't fair since I put crazy amount of time into my favorite small heroes that barely ever get noticed)

Constantine - Treebeard will be fine - you can either strip the paint off for your proof pic or simply re-prime th model.

I take it you cannot submit Bill, Bert and Tom as a single entry?

Difficult one that one but i'd have to say yes the 3 trolls could be submitted as one entry.

Well in that case could two Eagles be entered, seeing as they come in the same box?
