 Working on a Tyrion for my Dwarves, a Ned Stark + achers with wolf helmets for my Rohirrim and some rangers that look spurisingly much like characters from the wall ;)

Until the Dornishmen make into the TV series I currently think of their spearmen as looking like Haradrim when reading, minus the elephants of course, as they belong to the Golden Company.

Also Ned Stark and Boromir are one and the same, I don't just mean actors, I mean the characrters, they are actually the same person :D

EDIT: Scorched Brown and Rhinox Hide are not exactly the same, the latter is noticably but darken, but as long as none of you plan on using just flat colours you should be fine looking the same at the end.

Argeed. About Boromir, are you sure? I mean, Ned Stark is much stronger of mind than Boromir, as he stays to what he's doing the whole time untill he gets taken, but Boromir dwells of his missions sometimes by bothering Frodo and gets temptated by the Ring where Ned stays to his point, even when people suggest he should leave things th way they're going.

Are you confusing book Boromir with film Boromir, Boromir is much more noble in the book. Also, they are both destined to die early. Though I kind of agree, Ned Stark is cross between Boromir and Aragorn.

Took out my book, read parts of it through briefly, and found out I was confusing them. But still, as you say, Ned seems to be more inbetween Boromir and Aragorn rather than just Boromir. And how should we see Cersei and Geoffrey? Geoffrey feels like a stupid young version of Denethor and Cersei seems like a beautiful and female version of Grima

Joffrey is brattier than Denethor, but he is certainly stupid, hard to say what.

 at Cersie, now I see Grima wearing a Lannister dress

And because I know you all love looking at an overfull bucket of Goblin Poo:

And finally a shot of The Great Edna himself, sitting on his throne, with some guards. Note that the bases have been started too:

And, not exactly WIP material yet, but I thought I would post proff of my first ever Good (as in not Evil) purchase for my first ever Good army:

The throne looks great in gold! Nice work, Gothmog! Although I'm not particularly partial to Goblin poo myself... :P

The goblin poo is glorious. Hits me right in my immature sense of humour.

Ooooh, give me the Tyrion! I'm going to start a House Lannister army next week (I hope), and Tyrion is the only family member I'm missing (as Dark Sword miniatures only makes a really bad version of him.

@Telchar, Dark Sword makes GRRM-approved versions. are you saying that GRRM is wrong?

Everything below was done over XMAS period, and I haven't taken pics until now, not had time to do anything more to them yet.

Here they are:

Image

Image

The Mumak had been repositioned years ago, but I never bothered with decent gap filling, so I just did that now, prior to its repaint.

Khamul has been covered in liquid green paint to make detail show up better for repaint:

Image

These Easterlings were converted out of archers, with spare pieces from kataphrakt box:

Drummer conversions:

Start of a foot Dragon knight conversion:

Image

Pikemen converted out of swordmen:

and to show i actually have done 32 of these;

C & C, if you want to.

Here are some shots of the Good (as in non-Evil) models that I will be painting this months. I also intend to convert a Wood Elf Captain.

The first 3 are also in the Painting Challenge section, but these are not:

Some limited progress. Painting in a different order than usual due to the fact that it is difficult to reach the rock under the sleigh. So I decided to do the whole lot this order: rocks, metal, wood, skin, talons/claws, hair, boots, feathers/fur, clothes etc.. instead of doing it layer by layer.
