Greetings from the Netherlands.

After a few years of inactivity I decided to pick this hobby up again.

Why? maybe it is the Hobbit movie, maybe because I have still some models to paint, maybe because I want to play a game again.

I started with Battle Games in middle Earth and collected all models and played with friends and my son. The collection expanded with i.e. Sauron and the Balrog, and more. And I posses the One Ring Rulebook. I also made (dutch)files for Battlescribe to help me to build army's.

I am not ready yet for the Hobbit models, but I am very interested in the "new" (I know they are one year old) source-books with the warband rules. So I will pick up The Free Peoples book end of this week, and I hoping to play my first battle since a long time.

Welcome back to the hobby, it seems many people are coming back to the hobby at the moment (myself included) many of which not necessarily because the new film just because of their reminiscent memories of how fun the hobby used to be, hope you have as much joy in the hobby as the rest of us do. You came at a great time :-)

Now just to find an opponent in my area....
