Here's a few ideas for names: Epic Assassination, Epic Obliteration, Epic Bane, Epic Barrage, Epic Execution ... and my favorite: Epic Flogging.

I am not GW, I do not make profiles of made-up characters to be overpowered. I picked a guy from the film, who GW made a model for and created a themed-rule for him. He's the guy on the left:

Image

Any more spam ideas will not be aclnowledges. One or two is tolerated. You know who I am talking to.

Assassination is too Lurtz-ish, Obliteration is what the Betrayer and Crossbows do. Bane is a themed rule, but a better idea. Barrage sounds niceish, I may think on'it, Execution though it sounds a bit silly, fits in with the idea of Gothmog telling him to "release the prisoners" when really he meant fling the severed heads at their living comrades. Flogging sounds like a spam idea, unless you continue with the "prisoners" theme here.

Barrage is the only one which I like, but I prefer it above my own idea. Why would it be called Flogging, Assassination, etc.

I have changed it to Barrage, and added Guritz to the main page. Whn I get the change I will update my WotR House Pts values.

I know this topic is dead but I thought of adding my own two cents.

Quote:
A King’s Huntsman is a Command Company Upgrade available to formations of Oathsworn Militia, Oathsworn Bowmen and Riders of Rohan Eoreds.

Shouldn't he be able to be an upgrade for Outriders' Eoreds as well. It fits thematically with the idea of a huntsman. Other than that, thank you for taking the time and effort to create these profiles. :)

@Constantine, thanks for the revival actually. And your welcome. 8)

Well, thematically, the Huntsman could go in Outriders too, although my main reason against it is that GW's idea with them is that they should have no heroes, though tbh I think since they're Rohan, they could definately benefit from it, so I may put them in when I come back here.

@Draugluin, aye, but I'm busy and I've only got a couple of the, done right now, but I am in the process of making WotR profiles for the Hobbit minis, in fact I have some really good ideas, I think. I hope you like them.

Keep an eye out, I will hopefully have all the Hobbit profiles done soon. 8)

Right guys, I have done all the Good Guys, and I just have 5 Evil Guys profiles left to do. Before I post the lot, I just thought I'd give you a preview. I thought it better for now at least if they were all added to existing lists. I put the Hunter Orcs in Angmar not Moris because I wanted to keep it Orc free.

Biblo Baggins - Forgotten Kingdoms
Thorin Oakenshield - Dwarves
Dwalin - Dwarves
Balin - Dwarves
Dori - Dwarves
Nori - Dwarves
Ori - Dwarves
Oin - Dwarves
Gloin - Dwarves
Bifor - Dwarves
Bofur - Dwarves
Bombur - Dwarves
Fili - Dwarves
Kili - Dwarves
Lindir - Elves
Rivendell Knights - Elves
Radagast on bunny Sled - Forgotten kingdoms
(Sebastian) as upgrade for either Radagast
Thror - Dwarves
Thrain - Dwarves
Erebor Warriors - Dwarves
Grim Hammers - Dwarves
The Great Goblin - Misty Mountains
The Goblin Scribe - Misty mountains
Grinnah - Misty Mountains
Goblin Warriors - Misty Mountains
Azog, Captain of Mt Gundabad - Angmar
Azog Riding The White Warg - Angmar
Bolg - Angmar
Fimbul's Hunters - Angmar
Narzug - Angmar
Hunter Orcs - Angmar
Hunter Orcs w/ Fell Wargs - Angmar
Fell Wargs - Angmar
Bill - Angmar
Bert - Angmar
Tom - Angmar

The following models will just use existing profiles, in thecase of Radagast you can have either or.

Gandalf, Radagast, Elrond, Gollum, Galadriel, Saruman, Gwaihir, Giant Eagle

And here is your preview profile: Bilbo

Bilbo Baggins Pts value 75pts
RACE TYPE M F S D A R C Mt
Bilbo Hobbit Hero - 3/- - - - 2 5 2 Epic Hero

Epic Actions: Epic Defence

Special Rules: Sting, The Ring
Sting: Bilbo’s company has the Orcbane, Goblinbane and Uruk-haibane special rules. In addition, Bilbo’s formation ignores enchanted cloaks worn by, and causes Terror in, formations of the above races and may notice.
The Ring: Bilbo may put on the Ring at the start of the Move Phase. He rolls a D6, on the roll of a 4+ he is removed as if he was a casualty and must redeploy at the start of the next time in any friendly formation within 12” of the spot he vanished from.

Haven't seen this before, but I'm so glad to see those models with WOTR rules.

Looking forward to the Hobbit ones there too. I agree with the way you have placed them.

I would make the trolls a 'one purchase' unit so you cannot just take one, but must take all 3...

What concerns me is that the Dwarves will be getting a plethora of heroes. I would rule most of the 13 to be unusable on their own, they would have to either be paired or another ruling to be made.

I'd make them a Company of Heroes, similar to The White Council

Agree 90%. We should not forget that some of the Dwarves in the company were not warriors, rather they were craftsmen and artisans. I think that the most prominent ones, Thorin, Balin, Dwalin, should also have separate entries (Balin already does...).
I am extremely curious as to your Elven additions. I hope that they will make the list more competitive.

Yes, I also agree that the the the 13 should be made into a unit that is much like the Fellowship, the nine, or the White Council. Have each dwarf give some benefit, and of course Gandalf can use his "Necromancy" to bring them back when they are killed.

I don't think the new Orcs should be part of the Angmar lists, they should be in the Moria ones. However, with that said, I do know there is a major distinction between the types of Goblins that live in that area.

I made Allied lists some time ago for my gaming group. I do have a seperate entry for Gundabad types, and I'll make a new one for Goblin Town types.

Thanks for the feedback guys, allow me to reply in order of post.

@goblin king, i don't think you should force people to take all three, but I think thereshould be a rule that makes them ore powerful if you field them together, and I have just the thing. i got the iea from the Nazgul battlehost.

@Telchar no 1: "may notice" should read "may notice enemey formations using ambush under the following races on the roll of a 4+" "The next time" should simply mean "the next turn".

@Company of Heroes thoughts. Yes, definately I agree with you, I firgot about that at the time i was doing that. It explains why I found the Companions the most annoying models to sort out. The following heroes will be able to be taken as individual Epic Heroes:

Bilbo, Gandalf, Thorin, Dwalin, Balin, Gloin, Fili and Kili. The last too have some Elladan/Elrohor type rules.

I will revise the company tommorow morning, so I should have everything ready by the afternoon. I was originally goin to post it as a Xmas present to One Ring, but there was so much family stuff going on. I have the profiles on a word document, but they're saved under a weird fr,mat so I can't just do quick copy andpaste, so I won;t put up any tonight as it si already late, and it would take me til past 4 if I did it now.

@killerkertanas/Brian: Aye, but as I said I don't want to put any Orcs in the Misty Mountains list. Plus that list is already rather big, and Angmar is small. If,once i've posted the rules, it still feels wrong, the issue will be tackled.

Also, I saw your thread, I myself had made one too, but didn't want to post it since it had already been covered. I read through, andagreed 90% with what you did.

Radagast seems a bit over priced. Maybe either give him Very Hard to Kill or make him a bit cheaper.

My only comment is about Bombur. Gandalf already has the ability to bring the dead back to life, so why Bombur too?

As a cook, he would give stamina to his companions with a terrific meal, so I think his ability should be to give the party a bonus in their movement, rather than bring the dead back to life.
